Now, Total Phase has taken the full set of the state-of-the-art features available in the Komodo CAN Duo interface and packaged them into our new, lower cost Komodo CAN Solo interface.  At just $350, the Komodo Solo is a value leader in the CAN analysis and simulation category.

The Komodo CAN Solo interface is Total Phase’s newest addition to the line of award-winning development tools. This all-in-one tool is a powerful single channel USB-to-CAN adapter and analyzer. Capable of actively transmitting CAN data and passively monitoring the CAN bus, the highly portable Komodo interface easily integrates into end-user systems. The Komodo CAN Solo interface operates as a CAN node to send and receive messages and can also non-intrusively monitor the CAN bus at a rate of up to 1 Mbps. The full-featured CAN interface includes 8 GPIO pins that can be configured for input or output, allowing the Komodo Solo interface to communicate with external logic.

As always, Total Phase includes all the software required to advantage our award winning tools in the initial price. The Komodo CAN Solo interface works with the free Komodo GUI Software, which provides easy access to the CAN functions of the Komodo CAN Solo interface. Engineers can use the Komodo GUI Software with the Komodo interface to send messages on the CAN bus and monitor data. Additionally, the Komodo CAN Solo interface is compatible with the award-winning Data Center Software, Total Phase’s free bus monitoring software that captures and displays CAN bus data in real time. Advanced users can also benefit from Total Phase’s royalty-free API, allowing them to create custom applications in C/C++, C#, VB, .NET, and Python for the Komodo interface.
