The ISE Design Suite: Logic Edition includes exclusive tools and technologies to predict, achieve, and validate optimal power savings. Delivered with ISE Design Suite, Xilinx Power Analyzer provides accurate power analysis after design implementation, highlighting areas in the design for potential power reduction.

In addition, the Xilinx Power Estimator (XPE) tool makes it easy to calculate your power advantage. Xilinx offers product-specific spreadsheet-based power estimation tools, delivering accurate and easy-to-use ways for you to quickly model the power consumption of your next design. The Xilinx Power Estimator is also available as an app for smart phones. The Xilinx Pocket Power Estimator (PPE) app provides a quick, easy reference for calculating the reduced power consumption of Xilinx 28nm devices; compares Xilinx 7 series FPGAs to our previous generation families and approximates the power consumption of competitive families.
